AXCO Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (HRV System)
Setting new standards in healthy, energy efficient homes, the installation of an AXCO Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) System is an essential part of an airtight building, providing all new houses with clean, fresh, filtered air whilst recovering normally lost through windows, trickle vents and other break-out points, i.e extractor fans).
 
Fresh air is drawn into the home via a low energy continuous running ventilation unit, located in the roofspace/utility area of your home. The ventilation unit filters the incoming air to remove pollutants and insects. Once passed through the unit, the warm, clean, fresh filtered air is distributed around the home through a series of ducts which run to each habitable room i.e living room, bedroom etc.
The air from wet rooms i.e bathrooms, kitchen, utility areas etc is extracted and filtered back through the ventilation unit. The system provides balanced continuous ventilation without the need for extractor fans or window vents.
Complying with all building regulations, the AXCO system is Appendix Q listed and helps improve SAP ratings. The system is easily installed and comes as standard with remote control for easy programming and operation.
AXCO Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) System
The new AXCO positive input ventilation systems are sophisticated whole home ventilation and condensation control units that are designed to gently ventilate the home from a central position on the landing in a house or the central hallway in a bungalow or apartment.
Energy efficient, the units introduce an almost imperceptible air supply throughout the house to transform a stagnant, stale atmosphere into a fresh, healthy, condensation free environment whilst preventing damage to the interior of the home.
