County Stone (formerly Bowland Stone), a family run business since 1982 with 25 years experience, manufacturing top quality cast stone products for building, construction, walling and landscaping, for both the commercial and self build and DIY market alike.
We supply a wide range of cast stone products, including cast stone paving, walling, edging stones, and also Indian Sandstone and Blue Limestone. We also supply decorative aggregates, chippings and stones produced from materials natural to the Lakeland area.
  
Our products have been inspired from the breathtaking landscape of our local area, the Lake District, and using this awesome natural backdrop as our palette, we’ve created an authentic collection of both the contemporary and traditional.
Cast stone is an attractive, cost effective alternative to quarried stone, replicating traditional stone features with the authentic appearance of natural stone. Cast stone weathers similarly to natural stone making it difficult to distinguish between natural hand carved, and good cast stone.
Our products are crafted onsite using time honoured methods of sculpting and pattern making. The texture and finish is so similar to natural stone it does not appear out of place beside existing stonework and is widely accepted throughout conservation areas.
