As the cost of home heating has increase, the need more energy efficient homes has become increasingly more important. SmartRInsulations Ltd. have designed both EcoQuilt and ALUBUBBLE with this in mind.
EcoQuilt is an effective insulation that works to minimise heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer.
It is especially suited to DIY installation requiring no specialist equipment other than a stapler and scissors. Because its dust free you don’t need any special breathing equipment and the finished product does not support the nesting of rodents or insects. It is clean and easy to install.
Independent testing shows that when used correctly, EcoQuilt can provide the equivalent insulation effect of up to 200mm of traditional fibreglass. At only 25mm thick EcoQuilt saves space compared to other insulation materials, is clean and easy to handle and is quick to fix in place. Unique to EcoQuilt is the additional 25mm heat-sealed edges, which makes overlapping and sealing a simple job. EcoQuilt is 1200mm in width, fitting both U.K. and Irish studs with no waste. By volume, 70% of EcoQuilt is made from recycled materials and is manufactured here in Ireland.
 
ALUBUBBLE is ultra thin and can be easily manipulated to meet any shape or surface. It may also act as a roof membrane, replacing traditional felt. ALUBUBBLE can be used on existing walls, cavity walls, roof surfaces and under single skin roofs.
